EU VAT and Import Charges
Information For Our Valued European Union Customers
Butler Technik places great value on our European Union customers. To provide frictionless trade for all customers who order from European Union member countries we collect EU VAT on orders with a goods value (excluding VAT) of up to €150 (£125) at our checkout. This ensures our EU customers' orders get to them directly and are not delayed by customs processing, or subject to additional VAT and administration charges.
Orders with a goods value exceeding €125 (£135) may attract a VAT charge when they arrive in your EU country. Orders will be sent via COURIER and customers will be contacted with regards to any VAT payments which may be due.
Splitting Orders
When our EU customers prefer all VAT to be paid at checkout it is possible for them to place multiple orders with values that do not exceed the €150 (£125) threshold. These orders will be processed and shipped individually and VAT will be collected prior to shipping.
EU Business Transactions - EORI
If you are purchasing on behalf of an EU VAT registered business and hold an EORI number please contact us prior to placing your order so we can make the appropriate VAT adjustments to your order.
