I have an Eberspacher D5 installed on a boat which has a problem.

AIRTRONIC D5 ref 252361 serial no 30653 EC

When running, adjusting the thermostat does not change the running of the system. At any setting, the heater is running at full power and even when the thermostat is set to minimum with a room temperature of 25 degs, the system is still at full power. I think the thermostat is faulty. Can you help to diagnose the fault and tell me which parts are required so that I can place an order please.

Eberspacher D5 Airtronic heater requires a temperature sensor associated with the controller to regulate room tempoerature. This can be as part of an existing controller, but just as likely you may have a remote temp sensor within your install. Please can you advise which controller you have fitted/
