Thank you for your question. As far as we are aware there have been no changes to the fuel sender in the Transporter 6.1, so this fuel sender kit should be suitable for connecting your diesel heater (dependent on model) to your fuel tank. As in the product description this kit is not suitable for Eberspacher S2 or S3 heaters. We have an excellent alternative VW T6.1 fuel sender kit at https://www.butlertechnik.com/item/Eberspacher/or-Webasto-VW-T5-T6-T61-Fuel-Tank-Connector-Kit-E0423VW/6FU that is compatible with many vehicle heater models.
