Thank you for your question. The Webasto Heatmiser timer is used to turn your heater on and off at pre-set times set by the user. It is only specific to 12v Webasto Thermo Top water heaters. Water heaters are designed to maintain a specific coolant temperature. Ambient temperatures are controlled by external blower boxes or radiators that have their own sensors.
